Public Meeting
Community Open House Regarding The Invert Planned Development
Please stop by St. Francis de Sales High School on Wednesday, November 16th between 6pm and 9pm for a community open house regarding The Invert. The Invert is an innovative, subsurface economic engine that will transform an underutilized brownfield into a modern, environmentally sustainable economic hub. Our proposal will create over 3,000 permanent jobs and more than 500 hundred union construction jobs on an annual basis.
This meeting will be the first of several large-scale community meetings to come and follows hundreds of smaller engagements that have taken place since January 2021 involving community stakeholders, local business groups and organized labor organizations. These meetings have been helpful to inform our vision for the site, and we would like to provide a community update that incorporates elements of these discussions.
WHAT: Community Open House Regarding The Invert Planned Development
WHO: Hosted by The Invert
WHEN: Wednesday, November 16th between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm
WHERE: St. Francis de Sales High School (details below)
This will be a drop-in open house format. To better assist the community, there will be short project overviews of approximately 15 minutes in length at 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm.
Following each presentation, we will have 5 “breakout” stations staffed with Invert team members and subject matter experts available to answer questions regarding topics including
- Sustainability
- Air Quality
- Traffic
- Construction Activities
- Economic Impact.
From the beginning of this process, we’ve committed to open, transparent engagement with the community, and this format will allow interested community members to have direct conversations with experts regarding specific elements of our project.
We hope you’ll join us to discuss our proposal in greater detail. In the meantime, browse our website to learn more about our vision. Please do not hesitate to reach out to info@invert.cltv8.com with any questions related to the project.
