Process

It’s Time for a Bold New Approach

What if rather than building up from the surface we were able to completely invert the process and build a structure beneath the surface?

When we take all of our conventional thinking and flip it on its head, all of a sudden, a world of opportunity emerges. Building beneath the surface avoids the environmentally damaged areas of the property. The extraction process leaves the natural limestone for structure and uses far fewer construction materials resulting in less consumption, waste, resulting in a smaller environmental footprint.

The first phase of the project requires the construction of a substructure to serve as the main structural support. This will be carved out of the existing limestone on-site thus requiring significantly fewer building materials compared to traditional vertical construction approaches.

As soon as the first section of the subsurface space is safely available, build-out of the finished space will begin, which translates into near-term opportunity for tenants and jobs. Meanwhile, the team continues preparing the substructure of the next section.

As buildout is completed, leasing and real estate operations will commence.
